We visited the giant sequoias and I was awestruck at the size of these things! You can't tell how big they are in the picutres.
They are HUGE and really, really tall!
Pretty waterfall
Wes got a little thirsty.
Even the pine cones were giant! I've never seen pine cones this big!
They always split at the bottom and of course, a small slit on one of these bad boys is a massive manhole! I could live in one of these trees!
I think the whole world shook when this tree fell.
He's standing on one of the BRANCHES from the top of the tree! They are so high up you can't tell how big they are!
They seriously look like they came straight out of a fairy tale! They were so awesome!
GREAT pics Linds!!!! We want to go there sooo bad! Maybe next year!!! You look like a lil toothpick next to those monterous trees!!!! :) Love ya! I hope you guys are doing good!!!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go and see those!! They look amazing!
ReplyDeleteHey Linds, I don't have a FB I just look on Mike's occasionally. I have gotten Kiana's leggings on Zulily and from Mommy's Little Sunshine. I make her bows but I also get them from my sisters shop called: Ryah Sofia. They are both on FB. Hope that helps and hope you find some cute things cause they are so fun to put on little girls. Glad to see you guys are doing well and still having some fun adventures.
ReplyDeleteI love that you got to go see the sequoias. I have been there too and they are awesome (one of my favorite places)! Just wanted to say congrats on buying your house and I wish I would have known you lived in Kentucky. Like you said we were practically next door to each other! I think you even visited Washington DC. (I think I remember seeing a post about that) I live two hours away from DC to bad we couldn't have met up. Anyway it looks like you are doing well and if we ever come to Cali you will have to teach me how to surf if you don't hurt your nose again!
